Tim Morris

Cemetery Manager / Forethought Repsresentative

A Washington Native, Tim Morris has spent the past 18 years leveraging his skills in business management, sales, and marketing (through B2B, B2C, D2D, and other methods) to deliver high quality results wherever he goes.
His past experience spans food and beverage, home improvement, and property management. From the Seattle Seahawks, to the American Bureau of Shipping, and Exxon Mobile, Tim is known for his hard work, and service-oriented professionalism.

As the manager of Lower Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Tim holds a Life Insurance License and is a Forethought Funeral Policy Representative.

He lives up to his reputation as a self-motivated, and solution-focused individual. Tim is passionate about helping families, and he works with his staff to make LVMG Cemetery the best that it can be.

Over the past 2 years, he’s revamped some services, including the opening of a new upright headstone section, where families can plant annual flowers for their loved ones. Tim has also reopened the on-site chapel and columbarium, which had been closed for decades.

A key part of Tim’s success is that he complements his organizational, and communication skills with strong teamwork. He knows that things can get hectic—and even then, he thrives in such fast-paced environments.

Tim also understands that grieving families need support, comfort, and a service that they can rely on; he offers just that. The team at LVMG Cemetery cares deeply for families; in fact, families are at the heart of what Tim and his colleagues do.

Tim strongly believes in professional development, and has attended several seminars including Tony Robbins’ “Unleash the Power Within”, and John Maxwell’s Leadership Training Events. In addition, he enjoys reading personal growth books such as “The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth”, and “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” and many others.

When Tim isn’t volunteering in his local community of Sunnyside, you’ll find him flying airplanes, relaxing with his family, cooking, or watching NFL games.

María Serrano

Administrative Assistant

María was born and raised in the Lower Valley. Maria is the eldest of eight children and is the first in her family to graduate high school and attend college.  María hopes to lead by example for her younger brothers and sisters to continue their education.

Maria is an aspiring funeral director who loves working with families and is currently working towards her Associates Degree at YVCC. When Maria is not in the office, she spends her time with family, exercising, dancing and traveling. She enjoys taking her dogs out for long walks, and catching beautiful sceneries.

María is excited to be a part of The Lower Valley Memorial Gardens team. If you haven’t had the chance to meet Maria, please stop by the office to say hi.
