Allen Crisifulli

May 13, 1939 — May 26, 2020

Allen W. Crisifulli was born May 13, 1939 in Centralia, WA and departed peacefully on May 26, 2020 at the age of 81. He was raised in the Portland, Oregon area by his mother (Marguerite), and with his sister (Francis), and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. In 1961, he married Virgie Dugan, and had three children. He called Ridgefield his home while raising a family, and spent his career in the construction industry, owning and operating several businesses.

In the mid-seventies, he found and got to know his biological father Wes, stepmother Olive, and three half-brothers: Del, Leigh and Loren. Several family vacations were spent traveling to Vancouver, BC to visit our newly found relatives.

HGTV made flipping homes popular, but Allen was an original flipper! His home projects took him to Ocean Park, Napavine, Winlock, Kelso, Vancouver, Woodland, Ocean Shores and back to Vancouver, WA where he spent his finals days.

Late in life, Allen's loyal companion of 19 years was a cute, fuzzy, fur ball mixed chow/retriever, who found him while he was wintering in Arizona. He named her "Goldie" and wherever he went she was there right by his side. In addition, he had several cats that adopted him - Tom and Wheezy were also great companions.

He was a big fan of the show "Survivor". He watched it from the beginning, and at one point even submitted a video application to be on the show. Allen and his producer and videographer (Sara) would place a wager each season on who would be the "sole survivor" of each show with a dinner at stake. He was so excited that he picked the winner of the recent 40th season and requested Dungeness crab for dinner!

Allen is survived by his children Sara (Mike) Mathy, Kara Crisifulli, Jason (Tia) Crisifulli, three grandchildren, brothers Del (Dianne) Honeybourne, Leigh (Eileen) Honeybourne, numerous nephews, nieces and dear friends. Allen requested no service, but he will be laid to rest in the Garden of Eternal Light 39-3. Please visit him anytime sharing a joke, story or memory.
