Robert "Bob" Clifton Busley

August 27, 1953 — July 17, 2022

Robert (Bob) Busley, 68, of Toledo, Washington, died July 17, 2022, after a short but intense recurrence of the cancer he had successfully battled five years earlier. He was surrounded by the love of his family and friends during his final days.

Bob was born to Robert and Fay Busley on August 27, 1953 in Chehalis, Washington, and lived most of his life in southwest Washington. He attended school in the Kelso area before his family moved to Arkansas during his high school years. Bob got a GED and joined the Navy (he always said to get out of Arkansas), and went on to finish a flight school mechanic program before being discharged and returning to Washington.

There he met Audrey Brickey whom he married at the Catlin Grange in August of 1978.

Bob worked in the construction industry nearly his entire life, where he made many friends due to his easy going nature, and ability to tackle nearly any construction related issue that came his way.

He is survived by his loving wife, three children, Robert (Andria) Busley, Tarrah Busley, and Melissa (Sam) Busley, and two grandchildren, Charlotte and Elsie Williams, as well as his siblings, Leslie Steiner, Roy (Sally) Busley, Ray (Rose) Busley, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

A graveside service is planned for Tuesday July 26th.
