Robert (Bob) Charles Bruner, 81, resident of Castle Rock, WA passed away on February 2, 2021. Bob was born on September 29, 1939 to Donald and Ruth (Winter) Bruner in Chehalis, WA. He served in the US Navy on the “Ticonderoga” from the years of 1958-1962. In 1966, he married Linda Deuble in Seattle, WA. He worked as a casting machine operator at Reynolds Metals, retiring in 2001. Bob was long time attendee of Abundant Life Church of the Nazarene in Kelso, WA. He enjoyed spending time with his family, horseback riding, clam digging, reading, camping & working outside on the farm.
Bob is survived by wife Linda; brother Arthur Bruner; sons Chad & Charles Bruner; daughter Amy Prather; Granddaughters Kaitlyn Bruner & Megan Kline; Grandsons Nathan Bruner, Andrew Prather, Jonathan Prather & Travis Bruner.
He is preceded by his parents, 9 siblings and sons Todd & Mark Kline.
The memorial service for Bob will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 1pm officiated by Pastor Chris Davis. Due to COVID restrictions, memorial attendance will be by invitation only. The service will be available on Abundant Life Naz on Youtube during the service.
Memorial contribution may be made to Community Hospice or Abundant Life Church of the Nazarene.
